21st Century curriculum

Picture
“Technology should always be used to meet a specific instructional need” (Larson & Lockee, 2014). Technology use in the classroom is commonplace. The key to effective integration though comes when the technology itself is not the primary focus but rather when instructional need directs its use. This assignment was very fun because it allowed for creativity but also forced me to think about how instruction can guide technology use and enable students with opportunities to develop new skills. I was able to use a project I am currently working on at my institution as the basis for this lesson.
